The NFL is back. And so is your favorite officially licensed NFL digital collectible.
Every NFL season is special, but we’re gearing up for 2024 to be the most exciting season yet as we return to some basics and create new opportunities for fans to strategize and collect all year long.
We will cover these plans in a town hall on September 4 with Dapper Labs’ CEO, Roham Gharegozlou. Before then, we will share key aspects of the plan in a series of announcements, including our 2024 rookie plan and the improvements we’re making to collecting and playing along with the NFL season.
Let’s dive right in:
This season, it’s all about the Moments.
We know the core of NFL ALL DAY that so many collectors have fallen in love with is the chance to own the most thrilling Moments from your favorite players.
And for 2024, we’re bringing that excitement back to the forefront.
This season, we’re moving away from the dynamics of the 2023 season and focusing primarily on Moments that capture the NFL's best singular plays and performances. Fans will see more bite-sized drops, with:
- Some fan-favorite sets returning like Launch Codes and Showtime
- A focused rollout of rookie-specific sets at the Common, Rare, Legendary and Ultimate tiers
- Legendary and Rare sets featuring the NFL’s very best players, similar to what you’ve seen on other Dapper products
- More positional focus in sets at the Rare tier for clear understanding in each drop

The most special Moments are reserved for the Legendary and Ultimate tiers, our most scarce Moments. Last season, dynamic Moments served as an opportunity for collectors to stake their claim ahead of time to the players they expected to have epic seasons.
The Ultimate and Legendary tiers are special. So this season, we’ll be moving back towards players having to earn their high-end Moments based on their play.
- A select number of rookies will have specific Rare, Legendary and Ultimate Moments featuring some of their most epic action
- Other players around the league will truly have to earn their way into the highest tiers: only the best Moments from top players will be found in the Legendary and Ultimate tiers
- We’re going back to the basics - no more evolution points or dynamic Moments for players
With every new pack drop, collectors will have opportunities to utilize their collections and earn some of the most exciting new collectibles.
Before and during drops, most releases will feature events in which collectors can trade-in their existing collections to compete for epic rewards, including:
- Special serials of top new Moments
- Crates featuring all of the top Moments from the drop
- Packs from the new release
- More to be revealed later
After drops, you’ll be able to use Moments from packs to earn the top players in the new release through locking challenges.
The NFL’s weekly cadence is predictable and understandable. On NFL ALL DAY this season, you’ll see more predictability and consistency as well.
In previous seasons, we’ve often done larger drops over a slower time frame. This season, we’ll be leaning into weekly fun on NFL ALL DAY with smaller drops that give fans a reason to come back weekly.
Most sets will be featured in multiple drops throughout the season (i.e. Launch Codes may have a drop early in the season and one or more later on in the season), rather than a single large drop.
Each release will be accompanied by locking Challenges where you can use Moments from the drop to earn some of the top players in the set.
