THE BASICS
- The 2024 NFL rookie class is the most exciting in years
- To honor a historic rookie class, NFL ALL DAY’s rookie rules are designed with extreme scarcity and exciting season-long strategy in mind
- For the regular season, rookies will be featured exclusively in rookie-specific sets at the Common, Rare, Legendary and Ultimate tiers or as Challenge Rewards.
- Collecting a rookie’s Moments will help you earn their higher-tier collectibles as they’re released
- First rookie drop coming this Thursday, Aug. 29 featuring Rookie Debuts
Headlined by potential superstar QBs like Williams, Daniels, Maye and Nix, plus WR standouts like Harrison, Nabers and Odunze, the 2024 NFL rookie class is perhaps the most exciting one of the generation.
And on NFL ALL DAY, we’re giving these rookies the special treatment they deserve, with a plan designed for season long fun.
For this regular season, the only rookies released via pack drops will come exclusively in rookie-specific sets at the Common, Rare, Legendary and Ultimate tiers.
COMMON ROOKIE DEBUTS - THEIR FIRST OFFICIAL NFL DIGITAL COLLECTIBLES
Rookies will receive only one Common Moment this regular season - their Rookie Debut - and will not receive a Moment at the Uncommon tier.
Even at the Common tier, these Rookie Debuts will be among the scarcest rookie collectibles in the world for this draft class, with the following mint counts for different groups of rookies:
- Top stars minted to /1500 (10 selected QBs, WRs, and TEs)
- Other first-round rookies to /2500
- Remaining rookies to /3000
Rookies will see Rookie Debut Moments released prior to the season, with a play from their first game (or relevant meaningful action) added once they take the field.
A handful of other rookies may get Rookie Debut Moments during the season if they prove themselves worthy.
STACK ROOKIES TO EARN THEIR HIGHER-TIER MOMENTS
The top talent evaluators in the community will benefit from collecting rookies this season, as the best strategists will be rewarded with exclusive rewards from the top rookies, borrowing rewards structures from other Dapper sports products.
The calendar will feature new rookie Moments in progressively higher tiers throughout the season:
- BEFORE THE SEASON: Common-tier Rookie Debuts released (handful of players added in-season), numbered to /1500, /2500 and /3000 depending on the player
- MIDWAY THROUGH THE SEASON: Rare-tier rookie Moments released in a rookie-exclusive Rare set
- LATER IN SEASON: Legendary-tier rookie Moments released in a rookie-exclusive Legendary set
- Rookies will also be available as Challenge Rewards and as Expert Challenge Rewards in our new season-long Rare set of top NFL stars
At every step of the way, having a collection of the existing rookie Moments will put you in prime position to earn the newly released heat.
You’ll be able to:
- Climb the ranks of top fans for each rookie to give yourself a shot at their higher-tier Moments via airdrop with each release (more details to come)
- Trade in Moments at lower tiers to compete for higher-tier Moments when they’re released. Trade in Commons to get Rares and then trade Rares to get Legendaries.
BECOME A TOP FAN OF YOUR FAVORITE ROOKIES
For the first time ever, collectors will be able to climb the ranks to show off their conviction in the top rookies.
Lock Moments from a rookie to compete and raise your status, with each locked Moment getting tallied based on average sale price.
Top fans will be eligible for reward airdrops when new rookie Moments get released and when we have exciting experiences and prizes on the line.
RARE ROOKIES - COMING MIDSEASON
Use Commons to earn them, compete for them, or rip them from packs
When our Rare rookie set gets released (midway through the season), fans who’ve stocked up on Common Rookie Debuts will be in prime position. Some of the new Moments for each player will be:
- Distributed randomly via weighted draw to top fans who’ve climbed the ranks by collecting and locking previously-released Moments from those players
- Available to earn by trading in Rookie Debuts (think special serials and crates of Moments as rewards)
LEGENDARY ROOKIES - COMING LATE IN THE SEASON
Use Commons to get Rares, use Rares to earn Legendaries, compete for and earn them, or rip them from packs
And you’ll want to load up on those Rares, too, because the fun continues after that with the Legendary rookie set. Some of the new Legendary Moments for each player will be:
- Distributed randomly via weighted draw to top fans who’ve climbed the ranks by collecting and locking previously-released Moments from those players
- Available to earn by trading in Rare rookie Moments (think special serials and crates of Moments as rewards)
ULTIMATE ROOKIES - COMING THROUGHOUT THE SEASON
Use Commons, Rares and Legendaries to compete and earn special serials, or pull them as inserts in packs throughout the season
With so many potential superstars in this Draft class, we’re giving these rookies the Ultimate treatment.
Throughout the year, 10 rookies will get /10 Ultimate Moments:
- Some special serials will be available for collectors to compete for via trade-ins
- Some of these Ultimate Moments will be stuffed in packs throughout the season
EXTRA REWARDS FOR THE TOP ROOKIES
As the season goes on, top rookies will emerge as stars and, in turn, become the most exciting collectibles.
We’ll be leaning into this action with prizes for the top-ranking fans of each of the 5 Offensive Rookie of the Year finalists and the Defensive Rookie of the Year winner.
- Top 50 ranked fans for each OROY finalist and the DROY winner will automatically receive a /50 Legendary Moment from that player
- Become a top 3 ranked fan of these players and earn your choice (in order) of the serial number you’d like
OTHER SURPRISES
Above we’ve outlined a lot of the ways you can enjoy collecting rookies through the season, leveling up your collection as the rookies rise to stardom.
But that’s not it. Climbing the top-fans rankings can help position you for access to exciting surprises throughout the season, like signed-memorabilia giveaways and exclusive virtual hangouts with select rookies.
